In 2012 I am accepting a limited amount of students.
Students must have a basic understanding of chord changes.
If you have been wanting to further your understanding of your role as an all around pianist/keyboardist, I can help you deepen your understanding of chordal harmony, comping, bass lines, and soloing to help you continue to develop your own sound, style and voice.
I am also accepting students of all instruments for sessions in improvisation, Standards, Groove, and all around Musicianship.
For the Jazz student-
Melody, Feel, Vocabulary, Style, Repertoire and furthering your development of practical musicality are all part of the curriculum.
For the Rock and other contemporary styles student I bring my almost 40 years of experience playing in clubs, concert's and in the studio,including time playing with artists such as Blues legend Francine Reed, and David Marks of The Beach Boys (click here for full bio.) I have played almost every type of gig and will help you navigate the path so you are ready for all musical possibilities.

Vocal coaching-
If you are a singer wanting to take the next step into the gigging world or if you are already gigging but want a rehearsal pianist I can assist you by helping you find your right keys and organizing your set.I will accompany you and give you and honest yet supportive critique so that you can be your best and move comfortably through jam sessions and gigs. I bring my many years experience accompanying vocalists in Atlanta and L.A. as well as my early New York training with Bee Walker(see bio).
