RECORDING NEWS-

Autumn always brings out the creativity and I am finally recording a long awaited project that is both a spiritual musical journey and a follow up to my debut album LoveBrain. It is called "Enjoy Each Leaf That Falls" and it originally started with a batch of songs that I have been meaning to record for a few years. They mainly deal with spiritual stuff and this original batch were written in the mid 2000's when I was music director at Unity Rockdale. However just as I was getting started recording, I got real inspired by a walk in Stone Mountain on a beautiful fall day and when a leaf fell in my path, I had found my inspiration and the song presented itself to me during the rest of the walk. I came back and recorded it which set off a flourish of new songs that are now forming the main content of the record. It is a solo album that will also have a special guest or 2 or 3.

Titles so far include-

Enjoy Each Leaf That Falls
Tallest Trees
Always Be Kind
Thank You Dad
Gratitude
In The Silence
Winter Walk
Change
Serenity
In the Groove Of The Pine

Another project to be continued is the keyboard and Drum duets project with Mike Haid that we started last year. Bill Hatcher will be joining us to complete- The Lonely Frog/ Sunset and a couple other pieces that we improvised.

The Stephen Kalinich/Jez Graham gospel influenced song "Surrender" which went over so well at the David Marks shows is also being recorded with a lead vocal by the great Francine Reed and Guitar by David Marks for release in a format to be determined in early 2010. I am considering releasing it as a single download. Stay tuned for more details.

The Great Lost True Grits Album is still on the plate as well.

Stay tuned!
